Gibbs is going to be going undercover in NCIS‘ “Off the Grid” — and the team is going to be worried about him because no one’s going to know where he is.
In this episode, after seeing the brother of an NCIS Most Wanted suspect, Gibbs immediately assumes his former alias and goes undercover with their infamous anti-government militia. Also, Bishop and Reeves work together on an off-the-books investigation.

Watch as the team wonders where Gibbs is:
Gibbs isn’t answering his home or cell phones, plus he never showed up to teach a field training class, so Vance leaves it up to the others to find him. That means McGee sending Bishop and Quinn to Gibbs’ house — even though Bishop doesn’t feel comfortable going into his house when he’s not there — and taking Torres with him to the place Gibbs goes every morning.
Check out a sneak peek of Gibbs undercover:
Gibbs may be undercover with Bodie, but as soon as he gets the chance at a gas station, he borrows a woman’s cell under the pretense that he lost his and needs to call his wife. He calls McGee, but just as McGee picks up, Bodie returns. McGee calls the number back, identifies himself and has her describe the man who used her phone. “He’s 50-something, has silver hair and incredible blue eyes,” she tells him. McGee also gets confirmation that he’s with Bodie and advises her to just leave.
