The CW is getting a very early start on next year with the early renewal of seven of its fall TV shows for the 2017-2018 season. The list includes all four Arrowverse, plus the network’s longest-running series.

Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow were all renewed, extending the life of the CW’s most lucrative franchise. Arrow will be entering its sixth season, The Flash will go into season 4 and the other two will be in their third seasons.

In addition, Supernatural was renewed for season 13. With the end of The Vampire Diaries, this means Supernatural has run for more than twice as long as the CW’s next oldest show (which will be Arrow).

Finally, the low-rated but critically-acclaimed Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend have both been renewed. Both of the show’s lead actresses, Gina Rodriguez and Rachel Bloom, are nominated for Golden Globes, which air the night of the renewal announcement.

The only fall shows not renewed by the CW are The Vampire Diaries, which is in its final season, as well as freshman shows Frequency and No Tomorrow, which are unlikely to be renewed. For midseason, the CW still has The Originals, The 100, iZombie and the new drama Riverdale.
