Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Deimos Embraces Dark Side, Plots Sonny’s Murder – Mysterious Amulet Proves Irresistible

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) is about to embrace his dark side. He’s been trying to change his ways for Nicole (Arianne Zucker), but it’s easy to see that it’s only a temporary fix. Deimos will inevitably resume his role as a dangerous villain down the road.

We’re already seeing flashes of his cruelty. Deimos threatened to kill Andre (Thaao Penghlis), but at least that’s a situation of villain versus villain. Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Deimos could eventually make Sonny (Freddie Smith) his target. That’s right. Deimos may go after one of Salem’s sweetest guys!

Chad calls an important meeting with Sonny and Dario.

A leaked audition tape surfaced on Vimeo and it gave us some possible plot details. Of course, nothing is set in stone. DOOL sometimes changes things a bit before anything is filmed, so a slightly different version may appear on the air. However, the heart of the story will likely remain the same.

Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Sonny will enrage Deimos with some bold power plays. It sounds like Deimos’ crookedness will become too much for Sonny to bear. He may expose everything in hopes of putting his family’s company back on track.

Sonny will apparently end up in charge of Titan, which isn’t going to set well with Deimos. That’s strike one. Next, Sonny will somehow destroy Deimos’ relationship with Nicole. If Deimos gets knocked out of the CEO position, Nicole will want to know why. She may learn something that makes her wash her hands of Deimos for good.

That’s strike two against Sonny. He’ll really be pushing Deimos’ buttons. The last strike will come when Sonny acquires an amulet that supposedly wards off evil. Deimos will tell his minion that he’s willing to do anything for that amulet. He’ll believe that it’s rightfully his.

Paul seeks out Sonny’s help with an emergency situation.

Deimos will vow to murder Sonny if that’s what it takes. He’ll plan on prying the amulet from Sonny’s cold, dead hands if need be. Still, we probably shouldn’t be too worried. Since Days killed off Will (Guy Wilson), it’s doubtful they’ll kill Sonny. They would be accused of targeting DOOL’s gay characters and Paul (Christopher Sean) would be left all alone.

Besides, most Days buzz suggests that Freddie Smith is leaning toward renewing his contract. Even if he doesn’t, Smith enjoys filming at the NBC soap. There’s no point in getting rid of Sonny if Smith is on board with return stints.

Deimos, on the other hand, could be on the chopping block. This could be an exciting exit story if Deimos goes down for attempted murder. He could go back to prison or even fake his death.
