The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers report that Sean Carrigan has announced on his social media that on top of his portrayal of Doctor Ben “Stitch” Rayburn in Genoa City, he will also be starring in a new Netflix series. He was unable to release much more than it being a comedy series this year.
Y&R fans have been pretty vocal about Carrigan lately, since he got divorced from Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), he really hasn’t had much of a storyline. His character became caught up in a controversy when he literally jumped from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to Abby in a very short amount of time
We had all hoped that we would be able to see more of the bromance between Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) and Stitch that started in 2013. Dylan is virtually gone, how much longer can Stitch remain a prominent citizen? Currently he appears on screen only when there is a medical emergency, a real sign of him possibly slipping out of town with no one noticing.
Although The Young and the Restless’ Sean Carrigan was a great addition to the show, and quickly won over the fans’ hearts, his story line was badly handled. He arrived in Genoa City with some deep dark secrets, he quickly gained a sister, who implied he was a murderer. Kelly (Cady McClain) was only on for a short period of time being murdered. Stitch gets his son Max (Jared Breeze) back after his mother dies in a mysterious car accident, only for Max to kill Abby and Stitch’s baby and end up with a brain tumor.
If these are all signs to come, will Sean Carrigan be leaving The Young and the Restless for good? Will you be tuning into his new Netflix show? Be sure to tune into CBS’ The Young and the Restless (Y&R) to catch up on all the exciting stories happening now.
Can't release any details yet, but in addition to playing doctor in Genoa City, I'll be starring in a new Netflix Comedy Series! #YR #2017
