Bhojpuri star-turned politician Manoj Tiwari is grabbing the headlines and for the wrong reasons. An undated video in which the former Bigg Boss contestant is seen making fun of people compelled to stand in long queues at ATMs following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to scrap the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes is going viral on the internet. In the video, which was tweeted out by a Bahujan Samaj Party handle shows Tiwari sitting around a table with several people and telling them how he sung a song to boost the morale of people standing in a queue, and then goes on to mock them.

“I said desh bhakt hain kataar mein. Everyone started smiling….they said we will keep standing till the 30th,” Tiwari said in jeering tone, while the others also thought a serious situation like this a joke and started laughing. The video was retweeted by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and hundreds of others. Congress party’s head of media, Randeep S Surjewala, also tweeted, “Delhi BJP President,Manoj Tiwari shamelessly mocks & boasts about befooling people in Bank lines.Real truth of #DeMonetisation exposed!”

Manoj Tiwari, who was one of the contestants in Bigg Boss 4 was recently appointed as the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party unit in Delhi. And him making fun of his own party’s decision is quite questionable. Here watch Manoj’s insensitive poem in the video and let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
